Applications are welcomed for the delivery of the following module on the BA (Hons) Classical Pathway, beginning in September 2019. 
 
Final Project - Practice in Context (Research): Lecture + Composition Seminar
 
(2.5 hours per week for 20 teaching weeks)
 
The conservatoire wishes to appoint a part-time Lecturer/Module Coordinator for the module Final Project - Practice in Context (Research) this final year module, there is a weekly lecture (1 hour) for all students taking the module as composers and performers and a seminar (1.5 hours) for the composition students taking the module. There are 20 teaching weeks per year.
 
Final year student performers and composers who take the module choose an area closely related to their own practice in order to explore contextual relationships with their specialist study in the form of a practice-based research project. In the lecture, all students taking the module as composers and performers come together in order to explore research techniques. In the seminar, students come together as either performers or composers to share their work in progress with the tutor and their peers.
