Salary:  £29,176 to £36,914 per annum pro rata (Actual Salary - £1,810 - £2,291 per annum)

The Saturday Music School at Leeds College of Music is a programme, which supports talented young musicians and producers, offering the opportunity to explore new musical areas.  Students attending the programme are aged between 9 and 18.

We currently have a vacancy to cover family leave for an experienced and innovative ensemble tutor to teach and indie/pop ensemble and a three vocal groups.  There may be some requirement to arrange suitable repertoire for the particular ensembles but we expect the young musicians to be involved in the creative process.

Applicants must have experience of teaching practical and theoretical music to young people of mixed abilities and ages and must have the ability to plan and deliver an informative lesson.  Tact, self-motivation, reliability, flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
